Trigger wheel position?

I am fitting a 36 tooth trigger wheel to my front pulley ahead of converting to either MS2 or MS3 (still undecided).

Does the position of the gap in the teeth actually matter before i bolt it all together?

Yes, where the gap goes varies depending where you fit the sensor.

I find it easiest to mark the damper where the sensor is at @60BTDC and fit the wheel with the gap at that point. You don't need to be anally accurate, location is just so there is not a gap in 10degs data at a critical point IYSWIM.
