Mine got a bloody flat new battery at the mo The misses decided that the conditioner was fire hazard about a month ago and forgot to mention that she switched it off at the wall socket just to be safe............

Whilst on the topic of batteries, I just replaced mine today with this from Euro Car Parts (easy to return under warranty compared to buying online) - http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/444770780/p/hom...

Never had the car turn over so fast when starting up! Old battery must have been super-knackered!

ps. theres not much info on the ECP site, but its 62aH, 550 cca and its a type 078 (Dimensions - 242x175x190) with the battery terminals the correct way round.

The only catch is that you might have to adjust where the battery sits. I have it pushed over to the outside of the car so it clips in where it should with the original bracket but this means part of the +ve terminal is a little hidden, still accesible but it doesn't sit square where it should. Shouldn't be too tricky to adjust.

on this subject what is the best battery for the cerb.. the op said his battery was about 550 amps./. do some people run 700 amps in there cars?
