Cool Dom,
Biggest problem I have is no one in the UK is interested in DLCing wrist watches and the ones that are WANT £500 to DLC a Rolex sub. The Swiss firm I used were good but were strict about customs declaration I'm trying a new firm that sounds very promising and less worries with customs taxes and expensive coating costs.

You're a bit clever with watches... is it not something you could do yourself with the right equipment?Ah, right. Are there any other ways of coating a watch, then? I know using a black marker pen is a waste of time.
On the other hand, if you want to colour up indentations in a bezel because the paint has worn out, I found that you can apply a black or red marker pen then wipe the smooth surface, leaving the indentations with the colour you applied.

Hoof,
Always lots of black coatings available like black chrome, black PTFE/Ceramic Gun kote, Dark grey parkerizing, black oxide coating, black powder coating, even black Hammerite LOL, BUT PVD and DLC offer the best hardness and wear properties also makes assembling the watch straightforward.
