Automotive Photography
Discussion
A friend recommended i joined this forum, always known about Piston Heads but weirdly i only just discovered the forums, i'm a 19 year old with a passion for cars and pursuing a career in car design. My friend borrowed me a SLR and here are a few of my best shots from a trip to London last weekend. Feedback would be great and if anyone would like some shots taken and are in the London area i'm willing to do it for free in return of being around some great metal.

Thanks
it took a while just messing around with the photos to come up with something that looked cool i took around 500 photos really enjoyed going through them and packaging them together in to that pdf... not as much as i did seeing them in the metal especially the Murcielago SV the photographs really don't do it justice!

Be sure to look up member: GFWilliams. He's a photographer and has done some epic stuff - I've thought about it for my car but not taken the plunge yet!
Just checking out his Portfolio website your right his stuff is epic :O What do you drive? i think its well worth it also something cool to hang on a wall somewhere well as long as you want to emphasize the point of 'car geek - beware of possible boredom'

I've an E46 M-Sport coupe - not spectacular enough for big canvases or anything but I'd like some nicely done shots maybe.
I'm on my iPhone right now so not had a chance to look at your portfolio properly yet, I'll make sure I do over the weekend.

Cool, look forward to your comments

Very nice photos, lovely composition, angles etc.
And that LP640 looks very nice, seen one that looks the same, with a fake SV sticker and black rims and colour in London, but with a different plate.
I also enjoy automotive photography (most of my pictures are taken in public places) you can check out my flickr account, there is a fair bit of automotive stuff (not great though) and there is also lots of other automotive photographers around, especially in London.

Just taking a look at your flickr you have a lot of great shots, do you go to London often? would be great to bounce ideas off each other And that LP640 looks very nice, seen one that looks the same, with a fake SV sticker and black rims and colour in London, but with a different plate.

Welcome to PH.
O/T Some good number plates in there too, I like the SV PR05PER - Your photos would be welcome in the 'real good numberplate' thread I think. Host them through somewhere like Flicker or Photobucket.
My friend has already posted some of them and others that i didn't include in the pdf in that thread http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... scroll half way down to a post by the username mcavoy Welcome to PH.
