Driving home this evening in the Tuscan, about half way, just coming off a roundabout, scum sucking leach comes piling up behind in knackered old Vauxhall carlton. Weaving about a bit. REAL close.

Think not too much of it. But a bit cheesed off about guy in front going real slow.

Get to next set of lights which are red so I pull out a bit to overtake slow guy in fast lane and scum sucking leach twat starts weaving around and climbing almost on top of the back of my car. So I touch the brakes to try to get said twat to back off.

He doesn't. So after going through the lights I decide to lose twathead and floor it. Unfortunately, couldn't escape as soon caught up traffic in front.

W*nker is then all over my car pulling up alongside and behind REAL close. Revving his pile of crap car.

Jeeeeez. Then at next set of lights he comes up reel close gets out and comes up to my window said about 30 f*** words to which I reply "What the hell are you on twat?".

He then gets back in his car and as lights change he drives just into the back of me. Then pulls crazily around the side of me and pulls in front and slams his breaks on!!! And then speeds off again.

Jeeeeezzzz!!!!!

So the thing is my car now has a few very small scratches on the back which T cut will sort. However I think this twat should be made to pay.

Unfortunately, I reckon it'll be my word against his and I won't be able to claim anything.
I have his registration.
Has anyone ever claimed (and won) for anything similar?

Sos to hear about that. I reckon you should get in touch with the police as soon as and report it that is one scally who should be banged up. But i have the feeling that the car would probably be stolen or not registered to him as otherwise he wouldnt drive like that. I had some lowlife almost touching my rear bumper yesterday on the M1 for a few miles for no reason at 9pm. Was in middle lane could have overtaken me in the 3rd lane. Finally he decided to go past and I flashed my headlights in disgust a few times and he bricked it, braked harsh and was weaving all over in his J reg Astra. looks like the xenons quick flickering made him think it was unmarked traffpol.

Driving off after an accident is an offence I believe. Someone I know got fined £400 plus costs for breaking someones wing mirror and not stopping. The person concerned new she had clipped the door mirror but didn't realise she had broken it

take photos of the damage and report it to the police.
Somthing similar happend to my mum, some twat did some minor damage and drove off. Reported it to police, found guy had no licence or insurance and got a long ban and fine.

I'm with rich-uk on this. Pull over and let him through. He'll soon find something else to annoy.

usually best to let them go but all the same you dont need these twats causing you to pull over and let them pass every 5 minutes (which is what it will be if we keep doing it).

The police probably wont help but worth telling them. I had a similar situ and told the police. They sounded mildly concerned but I never heard from them again.

Wasnt concerened about getting any money for repairs, just wanted the scum to learn not to do it again. Otherwise what will stop them?

Person was generous enough to run into my lancia, setting off the alarm in doing so, then drove off. Thankfully my friend saw it and got a description of the car and a partial registration. I found them, got £200 off them (damage cost ~30 to repair - 2nd hand bumper), then i reported them to the police for failing to stop

Harsh? maybe, but they were massively out of order.

Sometimes knobnoses like that won't over take even if you do pull over! Don't what their problem is probably just jealousy, envy etc.

Had that on my first trip out in the Griff.
Fortunately it was at the end of 400 miles of driving in one day so I thought it not to bad that I only came across one jealous-twat type driver in all that time.

Yep. I always assume that if someone is tailgating they are impatient - and then best place for gimps who tailgate is in front of you where you can keep an eye on them...given that in traffic one is unlikely to be able to get away...

The ones who then just stay behind you - even when you have pulled over to let them by...they are roadragers...and I don't think there are any hard rules you can apply when dealing with them.

The worst ones for tailgating these days seem to be the "ladettes". I don't think its even aggressive. They just seem to think that the proper way to follow a car in front is three inches off its bumper!

report it as a non stop RTA. Take the car with you as they will probably come out and have a look at it. You only have 24hrs to report it me thinks.

If he is big a muppet as you say he may have already reported it and could be trying to get you into trouble. This worry has made me report this kind of thing twice.

Just had a funny "incident" on the way to the dentist.

Pulled up at a red light at the front of the right lane with a taxi and 2 other cars in the left lane. Another clio pulled up behind me.

Lights changed and as I know we merge into one lane about 1/2 mile ahead, I accelerate past the taxi and pull over to the left. Now, the taxi was about 4 car lengths behind me, and the clio behind tried to fill the gap and filter in. Well, the taxi then decided he wanted the space and put his foot down, and sat on my arse with the clio outside him as we approach an oncoming right turn lane and we're really down to one lane then.

Well, I've been the outside car before now, and pricks like the taxi driver need to be taught a lesson, so I slowed right down without braking, opened my side window and waved the other clio past. Job well done, a thank you off the clio and many expletives and tailgating off the taxi driver.

Cheered me up for the day, and I hope it made his worse!

On the otherhand, if it has been a BWM in the outside lane, I might not have done the same thing

I always do that. If I get cut up or whatever. It's just not worth it.
This guy was something else though. I did nothing to provoke the pratt and he just started driving like a lunatic.

Wish I had got out now and decked the twat. But I would imagine all that would have happened then is that a fight would have ensued, probably ending with both cars being trashed and possibly people being hurt.

I haven't seen driving like that since watching
'The Sweeney'.

Ta for responses.

ha ha!

When I went to overtake someone last night on a dual carriageway that goes from two to one lanes he sped up to block me out.
I didnt mind, I just slowed down without braking (plenty of safe distance still) and pulled in behind him. But then he returned to his initial speed again.

What purpose did this serve him?

I just laugh at these numpties now, just after I launch 2 tarmac torpedos that blow him higher than the lamposts.
Oh dear, dreaming again

Imo, you did the right thing by not pulling over and letting him by. In the US, carjackers, will harrass then tap the rear; once they're by, or you stopped, you're toast.
