As per the title really. Why whenever I enter the registration plate of my car into websites for parts ordering is my car never found?

For example, the halfords website requires you to enter your registration number in order to view suitable bulbs for your car. I have to enter the make and model details manually!

Now, there may be something in that my car is an import and also it has a shorter (not sure if it was once private) number plate.

It's because it is an import. None of my imports ever show up - even the one that was first registered in Guernsey.

This.

Your reg no will work in my Experian search, but if I search my Mazda EPC it doesn't recognize it.

So, are all the searches PHers are now running on this car going to show up next time it has an HPI done by a buyer?

You could probably drive through speed cameras at anti-social speeds without problems.

This may be a complete lie. evil

Why?

No one has searched it, you just know from previous experience.

This definitely does not work as proved by my attendance at a 'driver awareness course' last month.

Whoops! Thanks for confirming that. Did you purposely "speed" as a test? biggrin
