Oh no! A car being used. Heavens, that'll need to be cleaned afterwards...

Good for them!

Isn't it generally only people that can't afford them that get upset if they so much as get wet?

Sacrelige!!

I suppose it's not really the way to treat a Testarossa however.... It's a bloody good photo.

Don Johnson was the first person in the world to use a Testarossa properly.

Looks like a late Testarossa, fitted with aftermarket wheels

Wow-great photo

Glad i dont have to clean that engine bay though!!!

Wheels look like 550 maranello's?

Taking mine on the porsche experience circuits at Silverstone in may, with the SupercarDriver Club-should be fun getting it sideways on the kickplate!!!

Exactly. Give it the odd clean, get it serviced correctly and fully maintained, then ensure you drive the nuts of it at every possible opportunity. There's nothing quite so sad in the automotive world as an un(der)used supercar.

On a side note, at this point in time I'm personally enjoying the reactions I get from insurance quoting people over the phone when I tell them I want to do 8k per year in my 355

Chubb wouldn't insure me (very annoying) as I'm under 30. Ditto a few of the other more specialist people (Michael Ward etc). A couple of others have asked to call me back as I was asking for quotes 6 weeks before it was up for renewal so they couldn't give an accurate price.

Last year I paid Admiral c.£740 with 9 years NCB, total of £850 excess, Fulham postcode on road, no tracker reqd, no alarm/immobiliser reqd, 8k miles per year, age 28, clean licence.

I will however not be going with Admiral again if I can at all help it.

Cheers for the info, I'm looking (still) to get a 355 later this year and I've not looked at insurance costs yet. That price is not as bad as I thought it would be.
