its an event on brighton seafront on madera drive and basically 60 odd cars and 60 odd bikes do 1/4 of a mile to see whos quickest. The top 5 then do a shootoff to see whos quickest.

its free if you stand up the top but its £10 i think to go down a level and in the pits etc...

great spectactor event but if you can then pls enter. What cars do u drive?

also its in september so a while yet.

I'm considering doing it in my CSL,

only problem is that it clashes with a sprint at Brands Hatch so I'll have to decide nearer the time.

Worth mentioning that the Brighton & Hove Motor Club that runs it has a website here that has a Speed Trials Details page with all sorts of stuff about how to enter, parking, opening times, etc.

There is also a Facebook page for the Speed Trials themselves here with all sorts of pics and videos and details on it.

This has done it twice, best time was 12.60, but last year it became this and hasn't been dragged yet. Not sure what I am running this year; would like to do the bikes again to be honest as I just bought a new one.

I luved it when that was at brighton at there was a lot of wows and how good it was at the drag.

If you are a club member then you'll get entry forms at the end of June with the rest of us. Get them back within a week, you ought to be fine.

V6 clio mk 1 thats the toy @ the moment its got a few bits added like exhaust & filter ect its road going
