Is anyone else finding the 'pun' replies in the News, Politics & Economics forum tedious?

I thought that forum was for serious discussions.

Can a Mod advise and I can remove it from my favourites list if necessary?

There is nothing wrong with a little humour from time to time, but there is a bit of a tendency for band-wagon jumping on PH and if it is starting to take over too many threads then just report it to the mods and they will have a word or two to calm things down.

I'm in there fairly regularly and haven't noticed any others recently, and to be fair the OP set the tone.

I've definitely seen other threads descend into pun fests. They may have been in the lounge.

I don't mind either way to be honest, I'll just remove that forum from my favourites if it becomes prevalent.
