Hi,

Having accidentally hit the headlights after turning the car off and realising the MINI has the BMW function of "see me home" headlights (or whatever that function is called - headlights on for 30 seconds when you get home in the dark), I was wondering if there are other things that can be done with the lights, specifically that they turn on when the car is unlocked - is this possible?

On reflections, as I don't have 'auto lights', I dont know how it would know night from day, but interested to know if its possible.

Anyone know if it can be done?

Cheers

The can turn on when unlocked if the ecu is programmed to do that. Leave your indicator on when you turn the caf off and the curb parking light stays on. If programmed in press the open button once and then again and the windows go down, hold the key in the lock posistion in the door barrel and the windows close. I think its all in the handbook.

There is a guide of all the functions unknown

Thanks for that. They all sound the same as BMW's functions. I'll check to see if the windows open. I think they should close too if locking the car. I'll try tomorrow and feedback.

Thaks again.

The alarm is actually from a rover 75 well a lot of the car is... Yes it should do the same as the BMWs though,

each mini does different things too, it all depends what was turned on or off and when it was built, if you want features adding or removing the dealer can do that
