A6 Darley Dale 30mph speed limit

How long has the section of the A6 from DFS through Darley Dale been 30mph. It has been 40 for years with loads of 40 signs painted on the road surface and I'm sure it was still 40 when we went to MITCAR last summer. Today I noticed that all the 40 signs are burnt off the road and there is a single 30 sign near DFS and the Shell fuel station and not a single 30 repeater sign all the way to the speed cameras about a mile further on, they must be creaming in the cash with these cameras now.
