Ever been pipped at the post on PH classifieds?!?!

Frustrating or what! If a bargain ever comes up on the PH classifieds you have to move fast or you'll miss out. I'm just wondering if people would commit to buying a car without even seeing it if it's a good price. Lotus Elise's you have to act very fast. I spotted the one I bought within 2 hours of it going live and was straight on the phone arranging a viewing. I'd already missed out on two before I managed to bag my sport 160. When I was talking to the person he was saying he had lots of interest and that was with in 2 hours of going live. Also there was a Duratec converted S1 the other day that sold within 10 minutes.

So do people sit on the classifieds all day just waiting for these either well priced cars or ones that are sort after all day?

I'm starting to think you may have to say to the seller that you'll take the car before you've even seen it on the proviso that it's what you expect from what was put in the advert, when you go and see. This isn't the way I've bought a car before but it seems like a dog eat dog in the world of PH classifieds.
