Apparently they have a new catchphrase now, and it's not "cooking doesn't get taffer than this". I do like Masterchef, but I much prefer it when you have Michel Roux present to offer some real insight. John knows his stuff but Gregg just waits for the expert to make a decision before backing up what they say. Still, it always makes for entertaining television so I've got it set to record!

Seems they have new premises more liek the X-Factor, and not some seedy ground floor used-to-an-office-once.

To misquote India Fisher: 'But will they have a cameraman who can film the interviews focusing on the face and not the background?'

I wasn't encouraged when I read about the new format, I must admit. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I just hope that the result isn't rigged quite as blatantly as the Australian version...

Doesn't surprise me, after watching the polished Australian Masterchef the UK one paled in comparison. I would guess this has a lot to do with the revamp.

I think the Australian one is truly awful, really hope they don't change it too much.

OP when precisely this week, too lazy to check myself, just thought you might have thrown that in there biggrin

Not a fan of the Aussie version personally. I'm looking forward to this series though.

I cant wait to see how much spoon Greg the grocer can fit into his ample face.

I understand he has been in training and following some instruction from the adult movie industry can now fit 75% of the handle down his throat.
