Looks like it'll be closed for some time as they'll have to scrape it off which is going to take a while.

Just come past on the other side, and they now have a crane in place to upright the over turned lorry.
Still a bit of a mess so can't see it opening for quite some time

Everything has been cleared up, just sorting out the tarmac so highways still have it closed. Quite slow going south to due to rubber neckers!
Dam I've got a headache, time for a beer!

You should have posted earlier, we went by that way not long after it happened, in the van with full beverage facilities and even a healthy supply of pot noodles for those mega queues! smile

can the words healthy and pot noodles be used together....

Was coming along Lightwater after exiting M3 and some impatient arse got into the wrong lane at the Gordons Roundabout - no son your R32 Passat estate might be quick but an HGV aint gonna move for you so fk right off..

He then overtakes a long line of traffic with a double decker coming towards him
complete disregard for anyone.
Shortly after two police cars and one unmarked silver golf giving it large too and what looked like the Force Chopper was up to.

Now you only had to ask and said R32 could have been guided into the bushes
quite easly.....

The tt in a hurry was in a black R32 Passat Estate driving it like he stole it.
Near ended in a mess as traffic was coming out of Gordons school hidden by stationary cars and a van.
Tried to squeeze past on the inside of my 10 tonner just at the RO exit however a large lampost put paid to that idea
Next thing he comes past on the off side then away past the traffic to meet the bus head on and the bus driver was having none of it.
Less than a minite later along comes BiB lights and full on the go pedal.

Lorry driver once told me how much he hated it when cars joining the motorway booted it up his inside (which I always thought was more helpful so we were out of their hair quicker), so now I just slow down and drop in behind so they know where I am.. also towing a trailer has made me a lot more aware of the frustrations they face (although obviously still in a different league)

But yeah that stretch of the M3 is a pita, I try to avoid it at all costs these days. Living at J3 I either go via chertsey to the M25, or if going East I often go various other routes.

I was late one morning by about 20 mins, normally on there a t 06:00 from Junc 3
Got stopped by traffic light at the end of the slip road
Now try getting to 50 mph plus in order to join the traffic in 32 tons of tanker.
Fecking daft idea.
