I'm changing my car and I'd prefer to use an indie (used Monkfish for the 'ro) for any work that needs doing to it. Can anyone recommend a place? Ideally near Harpenden.

Paul I've heard good things about http://www.vagtech.co.uk/ they are in MK.
I'll be taking my Audi to them for a remap.

A friend uses them for servicing and upgrades to his Seat Leon FR.

I know a mate of mine swears by an Independant VW place for his Golf GTI.

Not sure of the name, but I believe its behind the Rats Castle pub in St. Albans.

Castle Road, off Hatfield Rd.

Yeh I think it must be Chapmans I'm thinking of.

I know Prestige, but I think they only specialise in BMW & Mercedes.

Inde-tech are also in Milton Keynes, they are very good. They are also one of the few places outside of the dealer network who can do Multitronic work, if you happen to have one of those time bombs! Like I do! eek

Fortunately not, hopefully the DSG box won't turn out to be as troublesome!

I've used www.vwgroups.co.uk - he's a mobile guy and very good indeed!

Cheers,

I take the R32 to VAG Tech. Run by a guy called Jon who is a good guy and it's very impressive set up.
