I placed an order for some stuff, then when some parts were out of stock I changed the order by email and also added 7 pcs -10 AN fittings with ½” NPT male threads for the Accusump setup.

They somehow messed it up and sent 7 pcs of -10 AN fittings with -10 female threads.

I called them up and they said they’d swap them, then I asked who was going to pay for shipping etc given that I am in HK.

The guy went off the phone for a couple of minutes and came back and said “You pay the difference on price – we will ship for free and you can keep the wrong ones”

I said “Cool – great service – on that basis you guys can keep sending me the wrong stuff”

The additional handling charge for OS orders, along with the shipping costs always bugs me.... and it always concerned me how they would deal with any problem I had, but this was handled very well.


.....I just hope the send it the fastest and most expensive way (like I do), rather than choosing their cheapest and slowest shipping option.

Crafty,

I work literally a mile from Summit's Sparks NV store, so if there is ever anything you need and handling + shipping is exhorbitant let me know and I can forward to you. Just bear in mind local sales are subject to 7.735% sales tax.
