Its fine, keep the car nice and dry thick canvas as you know . Its just the wind some times I have to take it down for while.

It has brackets to hold it down, however its bad where I live.

I did buy a few car covers £££+ they get torn and some expensive ones even shrink?.

Had one a few years ago. Totally superb. Only problem was when I reversed car off once the wind caught the base, which caught on exhaust and ripped Carcoon zip. Carcoon replaced zip with no fuss (was honest with them re what happened) and for postage only.

Cannot recommend highly enough.

spermlaugh I've got a dirty mind...

I heard that the biggest problem with these is moisture coming up through the floor.

No mines on the driveway, if you had it in the garden area put slabs down then.

I've put a polythene 'base' layer down in mine now which helps prevent moisture, as well as bubble wrap inner layer (see pic) - moisture does build up, except in summer

You can get these in canvas which further reduces wetness on the inside

Only real way is to have a proper double layered Carcoon (pics above are not of Carcoons, but 'car ports') with has an inner layer environmentally controlled - but then you could build a pre-fab garage for that money

Re previous post. When moved house to a place needing doing up (as in looked like a bomb site), the minimal amount of prep was required to get the Carcoon up and running. Forgot to say it keeps battery charged also. When garage was sorted out sold Cc on eBay and it made a decent amount.

Aagh, now your talking - a proper Carcoon - however, that will still collect moisture
