torquay - lads holiday in the summer??
Discussion
As title suggests, what this place like for a lads weekend away in the summer? we used to head down to newquay a few years ago and we always had a great time, lovely places, nice beaches, reasonable nightlife and a nice holiday 'vibe' to it but the only problem is that we might feel abit old in newquay being 26(always seemed to be full of underage drinkers)
so is torquay as nice of newquay? with good beaches and good nightlife, and nice vibe to the place with everybody there for a good time

Haha, too old for newquay, to be honest I never really saw the attraction myself, bloody expensive and not that nice a place. Highlight of my last visit was the Rattles Cider farm ;-)Im not sure where you are based but maybe Tenby is worth a shout. Similar to Newquay in that it is a beach town, few clubs, lots of pubs, isnt to far away from eg Oakwood theme park, golf courses, swimming pools an other attractions.

Does not compute?Newquay is s
thole of the highest order in my very humble opinion. Granted the beaches are nice, and Fistral on a late summers evening is splendid but the town is awful.Torquay is a fight-a-minute hell hole as well full of d
head mockney wideboys on stag weekends looking for a fight with the local d
heads. There are some ok pubs and clubs, but they're spoilt by the nobs in attendance. (I grew up halfwayish between Exeter and Torquay)
