Had our first Silverstone day of the year on Saturday and this is what Calum had to say about the resurfacing...

"Copse Corner has now been completely resurfaced. The new tarmac runs from just before the turn in point to just before the turn in for Maggots Corner.
It is very grippy in the dry but the wet weather grip is amazing. To illustrate how much grip there is the Formula Renault pack were testing there last week and were able to take Copse flat....no lift or brake, in the wet! It is also very smooth so all round another great improvement by the team at Silverstone."

Sounds very good.

Pity this was not carried out before my track day that was canceled on the 5 Feb due to resurfacing.

Thing is... if the blokes selling the tarmac are busy with a Big Fat Wedding they're not going to be knocking on Silverstone's door with some tarmac they had left over from their last job.

Have they moved the start/finish line yet to its proposed position just after Club?

I think you forgot to add; "but we recommend you do not try this in your own car on one of our track days" biggrin
