Decking

Can anyone recommend a good cleaner for getting algae off my decking,ive been coating with decking oil for the last couple of years but its lookin grren now,cheers

I use a karcher decking attachment on the pressure washer with some mild detergent (either cheap car shampoo or washing up liquid)

Saying that I have never treated my deck, but the green comes off qute easily.

Warm soapy water with bleach. Use stiff broom in scrubbing action - works for me.

Have to confess that I was gobsmacked at how effective that was on my decking.
Always thought it would be one of those things that never really did what it said it would.
