Arrschleife - ArranRing April 10 2011
Discussion
OK, here it is, the Pistonheads Scotland Arran trip. April 10 2011.
Trip would be meet up at various usual points then head for ferry.
Arrive in Brodick and then drive half way round for lunch then back
to Brodick for evening ferry. A big circle so we can't get lost.

Possible lunch stop? http://www.bestwestern.co.uk/Hotels/Kinloch-Hotel-...
Add names as usual.
Looks like maybe best to book ferry places sooner rather than later,
I was planning for 9.45 over and 16.40 return.
Gentlemen, start your engines!

Ok before the fast Fiats sign up will it get on the Ferry? I didn't realise Arran was big enough for an all day drive
John.
Dont worry Calmac dont have a anti flash car policy!! Seriously though Arran is effectively a big figure of eight with the perimeter about 60 miles so a 150 mile route is quite easy.
John.
Sorry for any delays in replys, I'm in Wales at the moment, they only
got the electric here last Tuesday and my web access is limited!
I'll ask about a CalMac group discount but I'm sure you'll get a FatFiat
on the ferry, it must have been done before.
One other thing is I think there's a GrandPrix on that day, we could maybe
fit that in with the lunch stop.
Not sure about doing the run as a figure of 8 though, is the GlenSannox road
not meant to be a bit rough?
