Banner Adverts in General Gassing

Has the advert layout been changed in General Gassing? I'm seeing an extra banner that didn't used to be there before, takes up quite a bit of room on the page

I'm using Chrome. Same behaviour in IE

I'm using firefox , I don't see any ads at all. I think chrome has an ad blocker function.

Once you've had a few hours without them you'll never go back to IE

Firefox has an adblocker that works well.

I found this out after complaining about the adverts on here.

It's standard procedure.

We have the ability to turn on and off leaderboards (as these adverts are called) in specific forums and have been using them in various sections of the site for quite a while now, although this is the first time we have run one in general gassing.

It is there for a campaign that "Car" magazine are running with us, and will be removed when this campaign is finished.
