A random thread, I appreciate, but I wondered if I wasn't the only person to have used the rear glove box (in between the 2 seats at the back) for an unusual item.

I recently went to Costco and bought a large pack of eggs (36 I think), and rather than run the risk of crushing them in the boot with other items, placed them in the rear compartment for safe storage....

Do you mean the bit in the boot above the fuel tank?

No, not in the boot, it is between the 2 seats, chest height (when seated), perhaps it only exists in the T2

Probably one of the most least interesting threads.... smile

I find it quite useful, used to store my spare PAS relays in it ... until I changed to 45 amp one

Also got a spare throttle cable in there.

I have a factory installed DVD player thingy in mine with little room for anything else. So, as of yet, unused..

Yeah, definatly a convertible thing, I've not got one. Would be handy though, I could keep my old Deep Purple and Black Sabbath tickets in it laugh

On MK2s and Convertibles ....Is everyone aware that your steering column adjusts in and out aswell as up and down..... Just it took me 2 years before I realised smile
