We are restoring a 1967 Tuscan V8, and we do not have the original seats. Does anybody know what spec the seats were when new or have any photos of an original car interior.

Any help much appreciated.

Interesting.

I'd like to say go and see Dad's but it has 70's replacement Cobreau ones.

As you are close a call to David Gerald/CWR might be useful. If only to ask what they have planned for the Titan. D_G did have NVN for sale in 2004. It featured in Sprint Dec 2003. A picture of the interior is in the book "TVR:Ever the Extrovert". NVN was at Classic LeMans last year and at the end was parked next to Ian M-C's Grantura. Ian's Tuscan was featured in Sprint Dec 2001.
I don't think Ian comes here often - but does look in on the TVRCC forum. You can also talk to Ian about Lagonda of Staines.

Anyway, do tell, what is this car you are restoring.

As the current guardian of NVN I can confirm the seats are original if a little tatty. I may have some more photos from the Haynes shoot somewhere otherwise you are welcome to inspect when the weather improves.

Which one!! Lagonda Rapier, Porsche 924 Turbo, Van Diemen or TVR SWB Tuscan. One day one of them will be driveable. The TVR is my Uncles, and he bought it about 6 months ago. 1967 car brought over from the states about 20 years ago, as a drag car!! Now has new chassis, new body, original Ford 289. Should be finished within the nest 6-8 weeks.

Be interesting to see when it is done.
Come to Worcestershire to visit parents near Tewkesbury - usually when a VSCC event is on nearby.

Hi Duncan,
I do have a pair of low back Tuscan/SI Vixen seats if you need them?

I have sent you an email regarding the seats, hopefully these will be a good match.

I will post the picture to Duncan Sunday. If he does not require them, I trust that the picture will be posted to you.

Was just checking in to see if the picture of the seats was passed along?

Ah, thanks, sorry for the confusion.

It would certainly be useful to have the pictures.

I have an original Tuscan V8 pair in very poor condition - which I bought as spares and am not going to use.

Give me a shout if interested.

Cheers,

Neil

Thanks Neil,

It looks like you are "just up the M11" from me.
