TV Screen going black.

I have a 42 inch Mirai TV, about 4 years old, not the best TV, but has served us well until recently.
The last couple of days, I have a problem with the screen going black, the sound remains, and if I switch to another source and back its fine, for what could be a days, or could be 5 minutes.
Do I need to start looking for new tv?
