Howdy folks, looking for one of the above for a week away in June.

Sleeping 6/8 people, nice surroundings, Nice roads would be, errr....nice, and at least 1 pub would top it off nicely.

Where have you been and where would you recommend to visit again? Where to avoid if you've been unlucky too.

Would like somewhere open to us having fun but not exactly 18 any more.

Happy to consider anywhere in Scotland really.

Previously visited the cabins at Strathyre and Loch Awe. Both were great but fancy trying somewhere new.

Cheers,
Olie

The cabins at Tralee, just outside Benderloch are nice. Stayed here a few times, nice accomodation with a really nice beach front and great roads. Only thing missing is a Pub, however Connel isn't too far and neither is Oban for that matter.

This is near me... FAB location, sleeps 12. Nearest occupied house about a mile away. The Torridon Inn is 2 miles (but has a track so if you have a 4x4 you don't need to use public roads). Inn also has wi fi

ETA - photos on this site are RUBBISH - does it no favours - direct access to the sea from the house - this taken about 200 yards from the house on the shore

Lat year we ventured from Costa del Tayside over to Loch Lomond and stayed here http://www.ardlui.com/

If you are looking for utter peace and tranquility this is not the the place. It is quiet, the views are nice, but there are other lodges and a marina next to you. However the bar is a 5 min walk, you are set perfectly for some epic drives, and only 45 mins from Loch Fyne, and the epically brilliant restaurant there. Don't make the mistake (like i did) of thinking that this place is the same as the Loch Fyne chain. This place was the first and allows their name to be used by the a brewery to promote the chain restaurants. Oh and the drive there is pretty good too!!

I'll second that. Been there twice nothing like a beer & nibbles as you lounge about in the hot tub
