E60 M5 reduced power light

Car broke down earlier, first time in 2.5 years it has let me down. Sudden loss of power and big misfire, ground to a halt and won't idle/rev. Towed in by BMW assist, anybody experienced anything similar?

YUP! Had that a few times Different each time;

Faulty spark plug cable/plug thing
Actuators, twice, one for each bank
MAFS

I'm sure they will figure out what it is eventually after mis diagnosing it several times Might get more help on M%board.com, I've found them a lot more use than the stealers!

Fuel pump st itself !all sorted now
