Anyone got a 996 Buyer guide

Has anyone got a 996 Buyer guide. I can't download the one off sports car guide as there a seems to be a problem with their server we I try to get one.

I'm assuming your around derby somewhere? I don't know what gave it away.....! I'm from Tamworth and bought a early 996 C2 from Autobahn in Coventry. Awesome, awesome car....previous was a clio (and a superbike!), I'd recommend Autobahn if you can be ar*ed to drive over that way. (5 mins from the NEC junction of the M42)

Just down the road from Autobahn is Shirleys who aren't quite as posey as Autobahn's very nice premises but seem very friendly aswell and have good stock in most the time.

To answer your question without waffling anymore, buy 911 and porsche world and use their back issue service, its very good and they've done various features on 996/ 996vs993 etc. Well worth a read and really influenced me!

Good luck but remember to get an inspection and haggle...take your wife/girlfriend with you and don't buy on impulse...!
