Am going to convert my car's Morettes back to the original bugeye headlights. However, as I bought the car fitted with the morettes I don't have the little panel bits that go between the bugeye headlights and the grill...

Can anyone tell me what the technical term for these are - can't seem to find anything on ebay. Or has someone got a set lying round the garage?

Sorry I can't answer your question, but bugeyes are awesome, I don't mind the look of the so called "WRC headlight mod" as I've seen it refferred to, but I wish it had not been done to so many of the cars. When I'm in the market for an Impreza a standard Bug is probably the one I would go for.

You'll need STI headlights and get the STI grill which is the "side bits"

Your own Morrettes will fetch £400 on ebay as I had them on mine and wasnt that keen. I wanted to swap them for the darker STI lights which I think look best.
Cant help you with the "bit" though

Well, appears they are best described as grille inserts. Have found a few old threads with them on for sale but all sold.

Will keep an eye out a set on ye olde ebay etc. EDIT: Found a set but seem a bit pricey as I'll need to paint them too, at least I know they exist!

Intend to sell the morettes which are mint and earn me a little cash in the process. thumbup
