Northern Lights possible sighting

I spotted this on Yahoo this morning.

I imagine it would be difficult to photograph.

Any ideas how far South the Aurorae will go? I have never seen the NL's , quite excited actually.

Wish these clouds would ps off.

A 4 or 5 may hit Scotland, but it'll need to be twice that to reach down where I am :-/

"NOAA has slightly downgraded the chance of geomagnetic activity on Feb. 17th to 35%". Those are still pretty good odds so if anyone north gets a clear sky (looks unlikely) then it's worth keeping the eyes open.

O/T Thanks for asking. Not good,replacements getting picked off but in the process of re-locating the suspects via a humane trap. (Naturally)
