'89 944 2.7 Lux wheels+tyres
Discussion
Hello,
Sorry about the question, but I searched through all the previous posts and found nothing really relating to my queries.
Does anyone know what wheels would fit an '89 944 8v 2.7 Lux without any spacers? (and preferably not having to tell my insurance company, either) I don't think the 16" Fuchs fit my car, and I've heard that running 17"'s will mess with the handling, speedo reading etc...
Also, anyone know what rubber is best for my 15" Telephone dials? It's currently running 215/60 15's all round.
Thanks very much
JM

You can fit any of the wheels the factory offered on 1987+ 944/968.
eg 16" Design 90s or Cup 1s (fronts 7" wide, 55mm offset, rear 8" wide, 52mm offset)
17" Cup 1 or 2 (fronts 7.5" wide, 65mm offset, rear 9" wide, 55mm offset).
Pre '87 wheels (like the fuchs) have a different offset - I think you're right, they won't fit.
