Has anyone seen Homicide?

It's set in Baltimore, like the wire, and is supposed to be almost as good. Just wondering if any fellow PH'ers have seenn it, and what they thought?

Yep, it finished quite a few year back but was brilliant, a great cast.

Homicide:Life on the Streets was it's full title and was/is brilliant.

Watched "Salt" last night and Andre Braugher was in it and I thought of Homicide! Richard Belzer who was Munch has appeared in several films/TV series since as Munch.

I remember one episode that ended in a downbeat way with some brilliant acting and "Hurt" by NIN playing that was just stunning.

I think you need to watch it in order as it starts with a cop suicide and various other story-lines If I recall.

Pembleton and Bayliss were by far the stand out star characters of this series. The dialogue between them was amazingly complex. The interrogations were brilliant.
