Two clamped cars on the road going along halfords in kittybruster. Then another one on a wee side road. One had a big orange sticker in window. What's going on?!

Saw one of the cars, a Laguna, when coming out of the Kittybrewster Retail Park - with a large "unpaid excise" sticker on the drivers door window.... Have to admit think that's my first clamped car I've seen here.

across the road from snappy tomato on great northern road - the pink 3 wheeler there was clamped for few weeks iirc?

eta - kittybrewster does seem to have a few clamped cars now and again. on the street outside the car park mostly.

I saw the Laguna yesterday. It's actually great to see people being penalised for not keeping their car legal. It make the rest of us that spend hundreds / thousands a year feel better!

Yup Dyce, I remember your blue 106 from a couple of years ago (I have a mate who lives round the corner)

Back to the clamp, is it a Tax evasion one or owners private one ?? (looks too tatty to be an owners one) I have only driven by.

Thought they would tow the cars instead of clamping them...

Back for a week to remind the family who we are and flew back to Calgary late last night (despite BA's best efforts by cancelling the midday ABZ/LHR flight). Will be back to Aberdeen for good in August, or whenever the Canucks decide they've had enough of me.
