Rim and Tire Applications to '89 non-SE

The Fact File enumerates well what each Lotus had for its rim/tire combination. However, it does not say if wheel welland suspension geometries were changed for the switch.

I am, "Sav'n my nickels and sav'n my dimes" to get some 17 inch rims to later upgrade my brakes. But, will the 7.5JX17 and 8.5JX17 rims and the designated tire from the list work on my '89 non-SE without trying to rip off my fenders?
