worst case scenario is that the 9pm is the end of a 24hr period, and according to the T&Cs they could charge you according to the drive up rates for the hour or so that you've overstayed.
But most likely if you entered the car park at say 11am on the day of departure then the 24 hour period will end at 11am in the morning so no extra payment.
Even when overstaying for reasons outside my control have only ever just rocked up to the barrier, pressed the talk button , read out my booking code and they've let me out with no charge.
This sort of stuff happens all the time, keep you there blocking the exit while a discussion and payment takes place or clear you off out of it happy bunny and another customer likely to return. Let's face it, they are printing money or as good as.
