White G-Shock - find me a great one.
Discussion
Ok, so my mate ( also lurks on here ) has just treated himself to a Riseman, and having seen some of the options my interest has been peaked in getting myself a G Shock.
I am not out to copy and I have a snowboarding trip coming up. So I would love a white G Shock. I am based in the UK and have obv had a look on Google, Amazon etc but I thought I would ask on here what nice G Shocks in white people have / have seen / recommend?
Bugdet sub £200 though as I won't wear it a lot I don't think. Certainly not to work!
A couple of things to narrow it down.
i) I would prefer not to have analogue display as I don't have a good digital watch so would prefer that.
ii) Some of them have some quite 'girly' highlights, you know purple / light blue bits in them and I am not so keen on that.
I hope that PH can help my find my perfect G Shock

You will be lucky getting a total white G within your budget to be honest.
The 'cool' white G's tend to be the "men in ice white" range which do have light blue highlights and blue backlights...

I have the gulfman (watch on the right) and although when new it could be picked up from around £170ish nowadays they are often appearing online starting around £300+
White is a popular collectors colour as Casio rarely do white.
The newest one I've seen is the Casio GW-6900A-7ER which again, quite hard to find...

Avoid ebay unless you REALLY know what your looking at. White is the most faked colour.
To help you out further I went to google
and searched for "white G-shock" and found this little shopping link...

Personally I would either go for the 7900 or the 6900 (first two on the list). Both are pretty large and both are about as white as you will get at the moment.

I saw this topic on watchuseek's G-Shock forum a couple of weeks ago which has some good examples.

Personally, I'd go for a 5600 model. The GLX5600-7 is dirt cheap and has a great gloss finish.

I like the contrast with the reverse face on this one, and its only £45, but it isn't a chunky G-Shock and you may not like the strap:

If you look up Storm Trooper G-shock you should find a really nice looking mudman. It's not pure white. Sort of an off-white/tan, but I think that's nicer.
This, and the strap is really well vented.I wear wrist guards when I snowboard, and it's the only time I won't wear a watch. It just gets in the way, and all the ski lifts I use have a clock on.

It is Tan coloured (Great watch, but not what the OP asked for)
This should be with me tomorrow.

I've not been able to find it in the UK, so colleague went to US and managed to pick this up for $90 from Nordstrom. This is the pure white model, including the big G button at the bottom, the one in the UK has the G button in black.
Hopefully colleague isn't too jetlagged and will bring it in!

was just trying to be helpful.Your post had covered the pure white ones already, so I thought I'd mention something similar that the op might not have considered.
I have the stormtrooper mudman (Mudman is a great G-Shock!!) and when I put it next to my white Gulfman it ends up looking VERY tan in colour, to the point that you would not consider callin it white. Same if you wear anything white with it.
It is a great watch and maybe a good alternative if a white can't be found, but don't wear anything white with it and expect it to 'fit'
