BPU Help Required for Soarer Twin Turbo
Discussion
Hey guys,
I'm picking up my new car this weekend, a 1993 Lexus Soarer 2.5 Twin Turbo.
Once I get the car I want too LIGHTLY modify it to get the power up to above or around the 300BHP marker.
The engine I THINK is similar to that of the Toyota Supra Twin Turbo, albeit in a 2.5 form and with a different turbo set-up. (So nothing like it then? LOL)
Apparently at stock this engine develops about 280BHP, lets pretend that it still has 280BHP after all these years, what can I do to get it up to the 300BHP marker?? I was thinking a replacement sports exhaust with decat and a replacement air filter to start with should see me reach around the 300BHP figure. Or is this rubbish and I'll have to do alot more?
Remap wise I'm not sure you can tinker with that too much as it's all hooked up to the gearbox and digital dash etc.
Don't want to spend alot of cash but do want to get a bit more power out of it as I've picked it up at a decent price.
I'd ask on the Soarer forums but they seem pretty dead...
Help appreciated thanks guys!

Exhaust and Filter should see you around the 300BHP mark.
From there a boost controller, front mount, uprated fuel pump, MK3 Supra Turbo injectors and something to control fuel (Emanage) + a good map would all be wise additions. It is also worth remembering that they respond well to cams.
Regardless, you won't see much north of 350BHP unless you are mega lucky.
