The only real thing of value I can offer on the matter is to watch the unladen weight. These things have a fairly poor payload at best, especially with a taillift added.

If payload is a concern, don't get one that's too long. I bought a LWB Sprinter some years ago with the lightest body I could get fitted to it. Unladen weight, without driver(s) was comfortably over 2,500 kg's, leaving us with a huge van with an almost unusable load space. The first time our lads loaded it up, it grossed out at a smidgen under 5 tonnes, and it wasn't full at that either..... Needless to say, they weren't allowed out in it that day.

Have a wander to BCA next Thursday as its van day, plenty to choose from there...ask X Tusc (mark) about his one.

I remember in the 60's 70's I had a mini supermarket

Would hire a luton for the day and go to the local cash n carry

The back side was nearly scaping the ground on the way back
