Hi Guys,

I was at my Grans earlier and she's just got a £700 tax bill through for her pension. She's been retired 7 years now and has already been paying tax on her pension, it's a regular thing - She gets a set amount weekly (not a lump sum etc.) I know it's probably hard to tell without all the facts/info but does a bill like that seem feasible?

Cheers smile

Does not sound reasonable at all to me, It could very well be a cock-up with her PAYE Tax Coding - there have been many recently.

She needs to get her situation checked over by someone who knows how these things work.
