Bertone's new small Jaguar concept
Discussion

I don't think they could have got it more wrong if they tried. Jaguar are moving forward with their design language - this looks like an old XJ or X-Type from the side and rear 3/4.
Autocar seem to think that Jag may be considering this for their sub-XF model - I really hope that isn't the case. They need a modern looking car to take on the 3er and C-Class, the X-type was proof that retro looks don't work in that sector.
Looks very american doesn't it.
Should probably have gone more for a 3 door XF look than a restyled XJ/X-type. Not very forward looking. Certainly the XF front end is one of the best looking ones around at the minute. As long as they don't just shrink and disproportion it like they did XJ to X-Type *shudder*

I need one of those in my life, along with a gun safe in the boot and a couple of heavies to complete "the look"
Why a gun safe though? Chances are if you are going for "the look" your shootah is going to be a sawnoff double barrel hammerlock, in which case you just need a SGC so you can just sling the shootah in ya motah without a gun cabinet
as a SGC holder, it really isn't advisable you "sling your firearm in the car, keep it out of sight in the boot

I'd rather not get a straight 7 stretch for firearms offenses so would prefer to carry the tools of the trade in a legal manner unless they are imminently needed for a bank job or other blag, perhaps a rebuilt center console to hold said sawnoffs would be a better option

Joking aside I actually really like that Jag.
