I'm cursed with this watch.

So... I've not used it for a week or three and fancied a change so popped it on this morning. Got to the office to set the time. Wound the day on to THU and date to 17 and then pulled out to the second stop to go through midnight to get it to click over to FRI 18 - fecking date changed but not date so wound on another twelve hours to get day right. Now it's 10.40 and it's starting to change to 19.
How do I get them back in sync?

So the date and day change 12 hours after each other? Sounds like it needs fixing.

My Monster got very upset when I changed the date during the 2100 - 0400 window: required professional help to fix.

TADTS. I learnt that recently so now move the time on to 6+ hours past midnight before setting day/date.

I don't know where I heard that but I've always been careful since my school days, owning my first Seiko 5.

Lord,

The Seiko manual date changing cogs are plastic and very weak imo that's one of the biggest weak points with the 7S26 movements.
