changing over the seats

hi all

my drivers seat is just showing signs of wear !"its not to bad i dont want it to get any worse"
is it possible to swop the seats over ? i know the lever to adjust the back of the seat will be on the other side
and a bit harder to get to but will it work , has anyone else done this

Its been done to the S2 I'm currently attempting to put back on the road - its looks a bit odd as the hinges are exposed to view and the recline mechanism a little difficult to get to. Dont know if the was ant redrilling but I think not

I can confirm that there was no additional drilling required. Although the seats were already the wrong way round (oo-er) when I got the car I had to take the seats out to fit the new carpets last year. There were only the 4 holes in the floor for each seat, so it hadn't been redrilled.
You might have to slacken off the bolts mounting the slide rails to the seat to realign the rails though? Then tighten them up again after a trial fitment.
