New CCTV camera's A38

Hi

Has any one spotted all the cctv camera's that have just been installed on the A38 in Derby. They start near the retail park and go up to the Littlechef roundabout? Are they speed award?

Are these the temporary ones that have been stuck up on the top of existing signage? Linked to a box of tricks chained to the signs base?

Iv'e seen a few of them around just lately. No idea what they're for, but I don't think they're for nicking anyone and issuing FPN's.

Yes their the one's.... I can't help but feel my privacy is being invaded when I drive down the A38 and stopping at the roundabouts!

Update they have now been removed!!!

They were doing some sort of traffic survey on thurs evening. Old people in Hi-viz jackets on every roundabout and junction.

They arrived just before that so probably connected
