Hi, I have a MY00 Carrera 4.

WHile driving today tyhe car just died, as though I had switched off the ignition.

I inspected and found the fuse for the engine management(c1) had blown. Replacement fuses alse blew.

Any ideas? The AA guy drew a blank but thinks it could be a chaffed wire somewhere.

Thanks

Thanks for the info, Staples Corner Porsche are taking a look at the car this morning.

Did the fuel pump blow the engine management fuse?

can't remember... all that happened was that all the lights in the dial clusters came on and the car came to a gentle halt. i think power steering failed as well, but can't quite remember now. i've paid my therpaist £10,000 to forget the whole incident, and all you're doing is bringing it all back!!!
