best place for studio backdrops

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy large backdrops for shooting models. Also, what are they made out of? something quite durable that can withstand being walked on in high heels presumably?

I forgot to say that an alternative option is to hire a studio where they provide all the lights and backgrounds. This is a reasonable place to start looking: http://www.getlocations.com/

When I did the studio session last year I paid £100 for the room in my community centre for a day plus £35 on the paper that ended up in the bin due to the muck. For £135 I could easily have rented a studio and used all their lights and facilities.

I've got some rolls of 8m x 2.5m 19oz white vinyl which I'm looking to get rid off. I bought it from a place that makes truck curtains on the advice of photographers at another forum and it is pretty good. I'm not sure how it will cope with high heels but you're welcome to come and check it out. I'm in North Staffordshire so about 2 hours from you.
