Who are you tipping for this season's title and why?

I'm going for a convincing Vettel retention.

Head says Vettel (especially after today), but heart says Hamilton.

I don't particularly want him to win, but Alonso. If Ferrari can get the car near the front at the start of the season they stand a good chance of winning the championship, its rare for Ferrari (or Alonso) to go backwards as the season progresses and I'm not sure Webber is going to be a willing second driver until the last minute.

I reckon Vettel will make fewer mistakes this season, and will have a car that is superior to any of his rivals.

After last season's thrilling battle, I reckon it'll be return to the usual fare of one team dominating (Red Bull) with one other just about keeping up (Ferrari), and the others left to try to sound chirpy about their next 'aero upgrade' coming in the very near future....

I don't want him to win either but I think FAfrown

Just noticed that Button is currently 3rd favourite according to this poll....are you serious?! He's been whining already about not being able to get balance. Last year he had a couple of fortunate/good decisions which massively flattered his points tally. The reality is that he is an average driver, who got lucky in 2009 and became WDC but it won't ever happen again. Lovely guy I am sure but he's not in Vettel/Hamilton/Alonso/Schumacher/Raikkonen/Hakkinent class...all IMHO of course.

You know what, ask me two weeks ago I would have said Bobby K, but of course sadly not now.

I honestly don't know out of the rest, I think it's anyone's. I really don't want to see another Vettel win before he's proven his 'racer' credentials though. So by that measure it leaves Hamilton or Alonso

rofl

It's not even the first race yet.

Best save some vitriol and bile for later in the season when you're going to need it. hehe

I predict the same mistakes from Vettel and the Renault engine letting them down again. I do think McLaren have a good car this year, so if Hamilton can learn to be a bit kinder to the tyres I think he has a very good chance. If Button can do one less stop than the rest all year then he'll take it.

Based on what? Right now it appears even Mclaren don't know what they've got..............

Based on nothing, I just have faith that they'll get there with it. Hamilton showed promising times this morning and they are not yet running the 2011 front and rear wings.

You didn't even answer the question in the OP you just spouted some hate for JB. And now you are just being pathetic.
