Hose from Swirl Pot to Water Pump

Been thinking for some time about replacing mine which is the same as tozerman's, picture below



The original ran over the fan belt, picture below (cant remember where I got it)



I am hoping I can get a repacement in stainless or alloy if cost is reasonable but ideally need an old, even if knackered, sample to work from. Can anyone on here help please.

I replaced the hose on the S and got it from TVR Car Parts - I think it was a straight piece (silicon) and I twisted it slightly to help with the shape and fastened it up to the large pipe (and maybe somewhere near the alternator as well - can't remember) with a tie-wrap. Noted the fanbelt guard on the pipe in the photo - an excellent idea.

It is a picture of my car before I changed to blue silicon ones.
I still have the old hose and could send it to you, maybe with some other part.

I doubt a pipe would work, but you can try.

Also still got mine as as I no longer use the swirl pot connection. Could drop it off when I pick up the bonnet hinges.

You only need to worry when you start keeping more than one of the old part that you replaced because it was knackered

Could you use the spring formers to bend a straight hose the way you wnt it ?

theres an example of these in Dave Bruces picture of his Wedge engine bay from a recent post... (with acknowledgements to Dave for nicking his pic.)



I think they look great here and could probably do the job fairly economically ?
