I Want to torque my cylinder head down but one set of 15mm nuts is partially hidden by the head casting. A socket fits, a ring spanner fits as well but then you cant attach the torque wrench as there is no room above the nut.
What tools have you guys used and where did you get them?
You need a socket sawn in half welded to a piece of flat bar a couple of inches long. The hex socket welded below the bar and the 1/2 square drive above. It offsets the torque wrench thus providing the clearance you need.
I made up a tool to do mine (basically a socket welded to half a ring spanner). If you want to PM me your address I'll send it out in the post tomorrow?
