Well....it is time to say goodbye.....after almost 3 years of Noble fun I decided it was time to grow up and actually get a car the wife would get into!! (Plus my annual mileage was dropping off too much in the Noble)

So, bye bye 2002 M12 GTO and hello 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo.

First impressions of the Porsche.....

Much faster than the Noble (above 60 mph.....the grunt is just never ending!)
Much more comfortable (leather heated seats in a sports car??)
Great stereo (Bose) but also great engine noise when pushing on - no darth vader noises though :-(
I can actually get 3 people in it (not sure that's a good thing all the time though!!)
I can actually get it out of my drive and over speed bumps!
Everything works !!!

However, despite the 996 being a reasonably unusual cobalt blue with the aerokit.....nobody ever notices it!! The Noble used to turn heads everwhere it went...NOTHING in the porsche....but atleast I am still smiling from ear to ear (although I was always grinning in the Noble...well at least I was when it was working!)

So...end of an era (but a great one).

Finally, a BIG thank you to all the PH'ers on this forum who have helped me out over the years. The advise has been much appreciated.

All the best, and enjoy your toys!

If you want a Revo remap then drop me a PM first. I had one on my 996TT and still have the SelectPlus module which I only used once to reset the software before selling the car back to the dealer as PX for the 997TT. I am still tempted to remap my 997TT.

Having said that and this is a Noble forum - I prefer my M400 to the 996TT tongue out. Now the 997TT is a different beast.
