Insurance randomness

Last week I typed all my details in to go compare and the meercat lot and couldn't get a price below £1200.
Today I did it again and the meercats came back with £559 and the annoying opera singers £352 both with the same insurer.

I suspect they don't really use computerised quotes at all but have an office full of people with a list of prices, a list of insurers, a blindfold and two darts each.

Still bloody expensive for 3k miles per year.

Quoted a month ago £430 for 4.5 cerb,insured today £530.Been with same company for 12 years never claimed got max no claims clean license and insure 2 other motors with them,what a piss take i think,oh and am 45 years old.

I assume that's not a limited mileage price then?
